POE Dow‑DuPont 8137

POE Dow‑DuPont 8137

POE Dow‑DuPont 8137 is a high‑flow, low‑density elastomer. It is especially suitable as an impact modifier for PP/PE toughening and injection‑molding applications.

Main Applications

Impact Modifier: Mainly used for toughening PP (polypropylene) and PE (polyethylene), which can significantly improve the impact resistance of base materials.

Injection Molding: Applicable for injection‑molded industrial and consumer durable goods.

Processing Methods

ENGAGE™ 8137 POE is mainly suitable for injection‑molding process.

Injection Molding: High flowability is a prominent feature of this grade. It helps improve filler dispersion and enhance the weld‑line strength of finished products.

Blending Modification: For toughening by blending with base resins such as PP and PE, pre‑blending of POE and base resin is recommended to achieve uniform dispersion. Its pellet form facilitates direct mixing and processing.
